During the summer months he can be found at the local celebrations announcing the rodeos. You can usually hear his voice on the radio as he does local advertising.

He performs weekly at Sandhills Spirit of the West in Nenzel Nebraska and he is a member of the Old West Days committee in Valentine. He has performed with the Vintage Cowboys, The Gothard Family, Yvonne Hollenbeck, Janet Parkhurst, Robert Dennis
and numerous other talented artists. Marty is a member of the Academy of Western Artists and has been nominated for "Rising Star of the Year". He has performed at county fairs and poetry gatherings throughout the West.

Marty feels passionately that we must keep our heritage alive with the time-honored traditions of the American Cowboy. He tells us stories of the days when Cowboys were kings and also the contemporary cowboy way of life he leads. A life that is still out there today, followed by ranch families all across the American West.
